Timely advice, especially with holidays approaching. I really appreciated the "move at your own pace". So often we get caught up in activities just because everyone else thinks it's a good idea. My race won't be your race and I can't compare myself with the "runner" in the lane beside me. God has a race just for me and I need to follow Him, strong to the finish.

I'm probably writing about part of this issue tomorrow. I have to "unload some of my gear," because it's too weighty for me to carry alone (and God's BEEN helping me!)

Sometimes, you just need to unload things all together, and that isn't what the world wants you to do either.
