Bonita, we are kindred spirits!!!! I love your office and all its meaningful and personal touches! First off I have practically dog eared my copy of The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady ~ I'd love to know what other delights your basket contains! We share a favorite quote by John Wayne! AND you have one of my favorite Bible passages referenced. I adore your idea of your Joshua stones! What a great spiritual memorial you have in your darling dish!

Six things I have learned from this passage that could apply to your stones are: 1.)they remind us of God working in our lives 2.)they mark the spiritual epics in our lives, mark our growth 3.)they are an encouragement to us 4.)they are a testimony to others when we share with them 5.)they leave a heritage for our children 6.)they are a monument of praise and glory to God

Might I borrow your idea? I have stones I have collected on various walks and travels that I find interesting. I have them in a small tin heart shaped bowl. I'd love to add meaningful words to them with a Sharpie. You may have just given me a new sharing tool!

Great room. I love the different themes from the renoirs, to the bold letters/words, to the punctuation. I love the glider and that little cozy quiet place. I envision many hours and times spent with the Lord in that chair. Very nice.

How lovely! It was such a delight to get a glimpse into your writing space. I find it very helpful to have an assigned place to pen my words, for me it is usually by a window with my computer. :)

I love everything about your room... the pictures, colors, memoirs, etc. Thank you for opening the door for us to look in! :)

I especially love the scrapbook paper bookcase--that was such a simple and effective re-do! It fits in perfectly with your design scheme (aka., the scheme in which there was no real designing, heh, heh.....).

Later this week, I'm sending out my take on Pottery Barn Teen's version of a sofa for a playroom for children who still have a bit to go before they are teens.
