Thank you for this post, Bonita! I needed to hear it. It is true that God's economy has nothing to do with the worlds economy. We do lose sight of that, though. How sweet that pennies from heaven keep you focused on God. I love that!

I usually leave money on the ground. (My mom would go nuts if she read that.) But, I do because I always feel that the money is meant for someone else. I'm certainly not rich, but there are so many who don't have anything. Perhaps that's God speaking to me about my own abundance.

Can a penny change someone's life? I think YOU answered that one already. This is the other side of the coin, if you will.

Bonita, I love this post. Several years ago I attended a ladies conference and the Women's Minsitry Coordinator had scattered pennies throughout the conference grounds. She told us that as we found pennies over the weekend to think of each one as a kiss from God. I have never forgotten that! Whenever I find a penny I think of God lavishing His love on me...and when I find a nickel or a dime...well, I'm surrounded in His love!

I agree with Maggie Ann, this was a very uplifting post for me this morning! I am amazed at the ways God speaks to each of us using different things to remind us of His love! I need to make sure that my eyes are open so that I dont miss those "kisses" from God as a friend of mine calls them!

I found 2 dimes yesterday. That's 20 times from God saying "Hey, I'm thinking of you. Are you thinking of me?"
What a great way to just remind us to say "Hi God. Thanks for all you do.
When I found a penny last week my 12 year old said, "Mom, it's just a penny". Now I have a better response than just something about wasting. It's also a great way to bring God into everyday conversation with my kids.
