My purpose on this site is to encourage and help as many people as I can to become healthier. While I see this as a ministry, it’s also one of the ways I earn income which is necessary to both maintain the blog (which isn’t free) and to provide for my family. I spend many hours researching, writing, and doing behind-the-scenes technical work on the blog and it truly is a “job!”
Some of the ways I may earn income on the blog are by selling my services and products. I offer a variety of health coaching services and I am creating an ever-increasing stream of products designed to be of benefit to my readers.
I’m also a part of numerous affiliate programs and if you choose to make a purchase through one of my affiliate links (which are clearly denoted) I may earn compensation.
Most of the products and services I promote here are things I’ve paid for myself and find useful. Occasionally, I might promote a product or service that I haven’t paid for or used, but only if I feel I can do so in good conscience, knowing it to be of real value to my readers. For example, I might write about a specific way of eating that I don’t adhere to if I know it has benefited a lot of people (usually people I know personally).
My promise to you is this: I cannot be bought and sold. When I recommend something on this site it is because I believe it will be useful and helpful to my readers. If I don’t consider it to be high quality and beneficial to my particular audience of readers, I won’t endorse it here. It is far more important to me to be a trustworthy source of encouragement and help than it is to make a buck. YOU are what matters most to me!
