When you are scheduled to revisit your goals on the 8th day of the month for a year and you don't even remember that you have said goals until the 18th day of the month, I think that, in and of itself, probably tells you how well you did reaching those goals.
And this, my friends, is precisely why I don't usually make New Year's resolutions.

I can't get past a daily to-do list, and most of the time that's not written down either.
Scripture is so right on when God says not to look past today. His plans call for things to be set into motion, regardless of our goals (or the intent to check in on them). He supports our planning for projects He ordains, but even those plans may need to be altered, given what happens in a day.
WHEW! I keep coming back to that flowchart idea and it makes me dizzy! Thankfully, He knows your plans and your goals, and, He will help you with those things He intends for you to complete, in His time.
Amen, I stopped setting goals a long time ago as well due to your thoughts today :)
