Meet Ginger

Would you like to meet the next Erma Bombeck? In honor of Newspaper Columnists Day (April 18) I'd like to introduce you to my friend, Ginger Truitt, who also happens to be my favorite columnist and is well on her way to being a modern day Erma.

Ginger writes hilarious articles about everyday life that will have you holding your sides and gasping for air. I forewarn you, though, that if you're looking for prim, proper, and straight-laced, Ginger isn't the girl for you. She calls it as she sees it and she sees it from an extraordinarily witty slant.

I met Ginger many years ago on a homeschool message board. I knew her back in the days before she got famous and all. I think I even knew her before she was crowned Mrs.Boone County and became one of the few women that have a real, not imaginary, tiara. I remember when she first started writing a column and I've had the privilege of watching her grow into the marvelous writer that she is today.
