Bloggy Giveaway

Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

It' Bloggy Giveaway time! I'm offering two different things, both of which pertain to writing since I understand we're supposed to offer things that reflect us. First, I'd like to give away a free copy of my curriculum, Hands-On Essays. The publisher's version is so hot off the press that I don't have it in my hands yet, so I'm offering my self-published version. This is a DVD/handbook combo curriculum designed to help teens and preteens master the essay. If you know of anyone who is planning to go to college, taking the SAT test, or just trying to learn essays, this is a simple, fun method of learning. Check out a sample of a lesson from both DVD and handbook here. It's a $50 value and a great deal, if I do say so myself!

The other thing I'd like to give away is a copy of one of my favorite writing books called Behind the Stories by Diane Eble. This book tells the stories of how some of today's top Christian fiction writers came into their calling. It's a great read if you enjoy writing or if you like reading biographies.

To enter the contest simply leave a comment below and be sure to include your name, even if you sign up as anonymous. Tell me whether you want the book, the curriculum, or if you'd like to be entered for both (you will receive one or the other if you're a winner). All entries must be posted by midnight on Friday, April 25, 2008 and I'll announce the winners on Saturday, April 26, so check by here then.

Enjoy!

Thanks for giving away my book, Behind the Stories, Bonita. I don't know how many you have to give away, but if anyone else wants a copy (even signed by me, the author!), send me an email: diane@wordstorprofit.com. I have a few copies left in stock, and would be happy to get them to you at a big discount. Also, check out my Internet radio show at www.reviewyak.com. I often interview authors on that show, so if people are interested in that, they can listen in. It's the Books 'n' Such program.
