Happy Anniversary Branch Family Church!

I was glad when they said unto me, "Let us go into the house of the Lord." Psalm 122:1

I love my church! I absolutely 100% love my church! We've only been there for a year, but I can truly say that I'm glad every time I go to the house of the Lord. In fact, our whole family feels that same way.

Today we celebrated our fifth anniversary as a church. Actually, we've been celebrating for the last three weeks, but today was the big shindig on the actual property where our new church building will be built. Currently, we meet in a recreation center.

Go Deep was on hand to lead worship and they did a terrific job. Truly, they led us to "go deep" into the presence of God.

Dennis Burke was our guest speaker and he delivered a powerful message. I'm still chewing the cud on this one because it was so rich and he shed light on so many scriptures that I want to go back and read and meditate on myself.

The afternoon was filled with lots of good food: catered BBQ and burgers. Baby Girl made some of her homemade Baklava for the dessert table

and judging by the empty plate, I'd say it was a
big hit.

The kids had a grand time with the inflatables. Horseshoes, volleyball, fellowship, and nippy weather. A wonderful afternoon.

I'm so thankful for my precious church family that I've just barely gotten to know, but hope to know much better in the coming years. I'm especially thankful for two wonderful people that obeyed the call of God and moved halfway across the country to follow a dream, Pastors Derek and Sarah Turner. I'm so glad that I get to be part of that manifested dream and to do life with the two of you! You're the best!
